Wes Seniors, are you interested in gaining work experience before graduation? Wesleyan is looking for the next Senior Class Gift Committee (SCGC) to work with the Wesleyan Annual Fund in the Office of Advancement. As a committee member, you will work with staff and learn how to make a quick sales pitch, fine tune your entrepreneurial skills, and help design creative marketing materials that support and nurture a culture of philanthropy. The Senior Class Gift is an annual fundraising initiative led by seniors and aims to make a positive impact through awareness, education, and fundraising campaigns. In addition, you will help to plan and staff fun events exclusively for the Senior Class throughout the year. Experience gained from this position—from designing flyers and graphics to enhancing communication skills for making the ask—includes highly transferable skills that can be applied to future careers in marketing, advertising, public relations, sales, finance, consulting and many other industries.
