Group Project Survival Skills

This workshop will introduce students to the group formation process described by psychologist Bruce Tuckman and others. Tuckman’s model anticipates intra-group strife and stress, or “storming,” as the second of five predictable stages of group work. Students can survive (and thrive) in group settings by treating “storming” as a predictable and manageable part of their experience. This workshop will offer strategies for moving the project group beyond storming to performing.

How do you navigate that forest/web/blizzard/… (choose your favorite metaphor) to find the best sources for your papers? Learn about sources and strategies for building bibliographies that will impress your professors with the quality of your research.
