I hope each of you had a great break and you’re ready for the semester.
A few quick things…
1. Drop/Add runs from today (January 23) until February 15 at 5:00 p.m. Make sure that you’re being communicative with your instructors as well as both persistent and flexible in approaching drop/add generally.
2. Now that you have survived a semester, this is a good time to reflect on what went well in the fall term, as it can be a huge transition intellectually, socially and emotionally. Give yourself a moment to be proud of yourself!
3. If do you feel like there are things that you could improve upon in terms of time management, test prep and note-taking, please be in touch with our wonderful Academic Peer Advisors:
Academic Peer Advisors for the class of 2023
Our APAs can be of help with time management, test-taking, note-taking, reading strategies, creating a study guide and other study skills.

Make sure that you’re looking over our class blog, as I’ve posted a few things there, including information about Summer Experience Grants.
Finally, please let me know your thoughts regarding the weekly Wes 101 notes with information about study tips, etc. from the fall, as I’d like to get a sense of whether they were helpful and/or should continue: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLScBw4Un73PFiaXn52yYfOpDaPxhqlrr2-6int80FGOe-hCUXg/viewform?vc=0&c=0&w=1
